Citizens of Nowhere (City of Women Festival, 2019)
As part of osborn&møller's overall curatorial programme for the 25th City of Women festival, the duo commissioned artist-in-residence Alicja Rogalska. Following Slovenia's 1991 independence, around 20,000 people—"The Erased"—were left without citizenship and deprived of social existence. Through participatory research and community engagement, Rogalska explored how to represent an identity that was taken away, sharing performative actions via an artist talk at Švicarija and a screening at Škuc Gallery.
